The origins of The Revs Agency go back to 2007 when Chakra Communications, a digital signage and printing company, was founded by Sharique Ansari. In a 10-year period, the Lancaster, New York company grew to be a more than 200-person organization. After building a solid reputation as an organization with exemplary customer service, more and more requests were made by clients for enhanced marketing efforts such as websites, social media and campaign development.
Realizing his clients wanted more assistance with their marketing efforts, Ansari formed The Revs Agency in 2016.
His first move was to bring in Chris Passarell, an established marketing professional with 25 years of experience, to lead the operation. Most recently, Passarell was heading global marketing efforts at New Era Cap, a leading headwear company that owns licenses for all four major league sports and multiple colleges across the United States.
Passarell quickly went to work building a world-class team of professionals including Mitch Mirsky, another 20-plus year veteran who played a prominent role in the marketing efforts at Fisher-Price and New Era Cap. Mirsky leads all client service efforts as well as digital marketing.
Joe Conti, another key hire, was brought on after leading the marketing efforts for NOCO energy in the convenience store market. Prior to that, Conti had served in a leading role in the creative department of Fisher-Price and Citibank.
Currently The Revs employ 7 people at their main office in downtown Buffalo, which is undergoing a tremendous renaissance in the food and entertainment industries…ok shameless plug for our hometown.
